Nanquan Basic Set No.3
Nanquan originated from Southern style Chinese boxing and is characterised by strong and compact moves which are delivered with power.

1. Start 2. Ready position. Turn
and look left.
3. Bow-arrow stance (kong-pu).
Tiger claw block-thrust
4. Cross arms in front.
Open to double hammer punch
Step 5 Step 6 Step 7 Step 8
5. Double hammer punch.
Horse stance.
6. Without moving steps, turn
feet and move into
bow-arrow stance.
7. Both hands in 1-finger
zen form
8. Move arms in arc to just
behind ear.
Step 9 Step 10 Step 11 Step 12
9. Move arms downward again. 10. Slowly and with power,
extend arms, left downwards
and right upwards.
11. Without moving a step, twist
feet 180 degrees to the left and
turn into bow-arrow stance.
12. Same as step 4.
